Snowy mascot Sooey Marsh is back - five years after his previous festive campaign raised £20,000 for four children's hospitals.

Marsh Industries‘ festive mascot, Sooey Marsh, is back - five years after his previous Christmas campaign to raise money for four children's hospitals.

The ‘Miles for Smiles’ Christmas fundraising campaign in 2020, saw the intrepid snowman mascot successfully travel 20,000 miles along the highways and byways of Britain raising £20,000.

The money was split equally between four wonderful hospitals in Birmingham, Belfast, Edinburgh and Cardiff, helping to bring a little extra comfort and joy to children and families when they needed it most.

The incredible support received back then has inspired Marsh Industries to go even bigger this year. Every mile Sooey travels will help raise funds for seven children’s hospitals and hospices across the UK, each set to receive a £3,350 donation to support the life-changing work they do every day.

Sooey will once again be travelling thousands of miles spreading festive cheer, shining a light on the organisations that make an enormous difference, and reminding us all of the power of community at Christmas.

Members of the public spotting Sooey during his "mission" are invited to share pictures and messages on the company's social media channels using the hashtag #SooeyMarsh. People can also keep track of Sooey's daily progress at https://marshindustries.co.uk/news/sooey-is-on-a-mission-this-christmas/
