JELD-WEN has appointed three new stairs technicians following a surge in demand for its free stairs measuring service.

Simon Crooks, Robert Mueller and Peter Lothian take the JELD-WEN stairs technicians team up to 13 and will be servicing London, Basingstoke and Sussex/Essex regions respectively.

Mr Crooks previously worked as a self-employed joiner and is following in his father John Crooks’ footsteps, who is also a stairs technician for JELD-WEN.

Mr Mueller and Mr Lothian have several years’ experience in the stairs industry, having worked for Benlowe and Flightwise.

Commenting on the new appointments, team leader Richard Maddock, said: “We’ve noticed that merchants are really benefiting from the free measuring service JELD-WEN provides. Adding three experienced members to the team has really helped to boost our national offering.

“Our free measuring service takes away the worry as JELD-WEN takes full responsibility. Merchants are benefiting from our expertise and their customers are benefiting from a quality product that helps keep their project schedule on track.”
