STOKE-ON-TRENT: Martin Cook, a regional sales manager for Twyford Bathrooms, will be running the Virgin London Marathon on 25 April in aid of the Water Aid charity.

Mr Cook, who has run the marathon once before, has been in training for several months and aims to complete the race in just over four hours. "I decided to take on the challenge last year and am delighted to be running in support of WaterAid," he said.

"There's a natural link between the charity and Twyford Bathrooms and the company has already made a direct contribution to help me reach my target of £4000."

WaterAid is an international charity, which helps developing communities with wholesome water, sanitation and hygiene education programmes.

Mr Cook trains every morning near his home in Reading before spending the day visiting customers throughout the South East of England.

He will be running The London Marathon in a WaterAid t-shirt, which also sports the logo of his two main sponsors: Twyford Bathrooms and The Wolseley Group.
