Employees of Coomers Timber & Building Supplies plus some of their friends have raised £3,784 for Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance by taking on a muddy and challenging 7km obstacle course.
The Nuts Challenge course, which included hill slides, rope swings, tunnels, cargo nets, with lots of mud and water thrown in for good measure, took three hours to complete and despite bruises and scratches the team had lots of fun and laughter all for a good cause.
This was the second time Coomers has participated in this annual event for its charity of the year.
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance provides a life saving service, but receives no Government funding and relies solely on donations from the community.
Coomers chose it as its charity of the year after it came to the rescue of a staff member several years ago, and its prompt action went a long way towards his long-term recovery.
