Huws Gray Partnership Solutions relationship with Efficiency East Midlands (EEM) is going from strength to strength following extensive growth of EEM’s operations.

EEM, a not-for-profit procurement consortium, was established in 2010 with just five members. Since then it has grown significantly, supporting a membership of 369 across social housing, local authority, education and healthcare sectors, based on its ability to drive cost and efficiency savings in the public sector.

Rebecca Dermody Simmons, Chief Executive of EEM, said: "We work collaboratively with our members to develop procurement solutions that provide access to compliant, competitive and high-quality products and services.

"Our growing membership reflects the breadth of services and support we can provide and how EEM has evolved to meet these complex challenges. For public sector organisations, the pressure on repair and maintenance programmes has never been greater. That's why having supply chain partners like Huws Gray Partnership Solutions is so critical.

"Over the years, Huws Gray Partnership Solutions has consistently demonstrated that they are ahead of the game. Their team is fantastic to work with, incredibly responsive and operationally excellent. This gives us complete confidence that when our members need materials and support, we have a partner behind us who can deliver time and again!"

Huws Gray Partnership Solutions works with public sector organisations to deliver tailored supply chain models that are designed specifically for the needs of the sector.

Jade Woodward, Commercial Director at Huws Gray Partnership Solutions, commented: "Our approach focuses on partnership, consistency and long-term value, ensuring organisations have reliable materials support for responsive repairs and planned maintenance programmes.

"Working closely with EEM allows us to support members procurement processes and help enable best-practice supply chain solutions. As members' requirements continue to develop, we remain focused on providing quality materials, competitive pricing and dependable delivery solutions, while demonstrating value, efficiency and compliance.

"The partnership also gives us an important opportunity to support EEM's wider Social Value ambitions and achievements, helping to deliver benefits that extend beyond materials supply and create a positive impact for members and the communities they serve."

The strength of the Huws Gray Partnership Solutions and EEM relationship is measured by what it enables EEM and its members to achieve.

Carl Blakemore, Framework Manager – Materials at EEM, said: "As a not-for-profit organisation, our focus is on delivering the greatest possible organisational, financial and social benefit for our members. They rely on their frameworks to procure the products and services they need to maintain homes and public buildings.

"Working collaboratively with Huws Gray Partnership Solutions gives EEM and our members that trust and reassurance, ensuring they have the right materials, in the right place, at the right time, with the flexibility and expertise to respond when requirements change.

"For housing providers, this means repairs can be completed efficiently, helping to improve tenant satisfaction. For local authorities, it means they can schedule large maintenance works across a significant property portfolio more effectively."
