Despite a challenging backdrop the merchant continued to perform well.
M.K.M Building Supplies, the UK's largest independent Builders merchant, has announced full year results for the period ended 30 September 2021.
Highlights:
• 40% increase in annual revenues (2020: 2.7%)
• Strong profit performance, increase of 63% to £84.6 million
• 18 additional branches
• 12 new branch openings and six branches acquired, via three bolt-on acquisitions
• Organic growth across existing branch network
• Debt successfully refinanced, reflecting financial strength of the business
• Carbon dioxide emissions per £1 of sales reduced by 12%
• Continued strong focus on supporting local and national charitable causes
