Buttle’s has appointed Barry Coombes as area sales manager with special responsibility for brick sales.
Mr Coombes was previously employed by Millingtons (now Jewson), a large independent merchant in Leicester. During his 26 years with that company, he established himself as a respected seller of bricks and associated structural products to major contractors and housebuilders.
Buttles’ managing director William Naylor said: “Barry has excellent connections with manufacturers and specifiers, and has already introduced many new customers to us. His knowledge will be a real asset to Buttle’s.”
