BIRMIMGHAM: EH Smith is supporting Northfield Ecocentre’s aim to become zero carbon.

The merchant, along with Eco2solar, is helping the charity to showcase renewable technologies at the newly refurbished, energy efficient building.

The money saved will help the Ecocentre to plant trees as part of the Northfield’s Orchards project.

John Cave, of E H Smith, said: “We are really pleased to be able to support the Ecocentre in their work to becoming a low carbon organisation.

Georgia Stokes, manager of the Ecocentre said: “It is important people understand renewable technologies. An accessible demonstration for visitors to view will help with this.

“The Ecocentre work is vital to building strong, sustainable communities and it’s great for us to be a part of that.”
