Builder Daniel Harvey of DPC, Cardiff, selected Setcrete Standard S1 Tile Adhesive for an intricate tilling installation of small 150mm x 50mm ceramic tiles in a fireplace refurbishment in Newport, South Wales.
The tiles were installed in the inner walls of the fireplace, which had been pre-prepared with new plasterboard to create a smooth, even base onto which the tiles could be installed. Larger format complementary patterned ceramic tiles were installed over the fireplace's hearth.
Setcrete Standard S1 Tile Adhesive combines excellent bond strength with inherent flexibility to withstand moderate movement and vibration, ensuring that tiling installations will maintain their integrity during day-to-day use, and throughout their lifetime.
