Alliance and Talbot Block now using the software system

Border Merchant Systems has welcome two new CounterAct user - Alliance Sanitary Products and Talbot Block.

Border is one of the UK's leading suppliers of software dedicated to timber, roofing, plumbing, ironmongers and builder merchants.

Designed as a tailor-made system for merchants, ranging from small family run single sites, to large multi-branch companies, CounterAct is one of the most user-friendly software systems available in the market today.

Based in East Kilbride near Glasgow, Alliance specialises in supplying top quality bathroom products to merchants and specialist bathroom retailers throughout the UK.

Alliance's focus is very much on quality. All of the products it supplies are either hand-made or hand-finished and it only works with the most progressive and innovative manufacturers and suppliers.

Talbot Block is a builders' merchant, DIY and garden centre operating from a large site in Port Talbot, South Wales. It supplies to both trade and retail customers throughout the area and hold a large stock that supplies everything a professional tradesman requires. The garden centre includes a large paving display area as well as offering a patio design service.

Both clients had their new CounterAct system setup in the last few months and are now into their on-site training programmes. As part of the process product, customer and supplier data from their old system has been provided in advance so the new system is already pre-loaded with a lot of the required information.

Phil Davies, Commercial Manger at Border, said: "I am delighted to welcome Alliance and Talbot Block into the family of CounterAct users. We look forward to working closely with their teams ensuring they go live on schedule and help them get most from their investment in CounterAct. Our aim is for the system changeover to be seamless from a customer point of view."
