DAVENTRY: NMBS members and suppliers teed off in style at the annual golf day on 29 July at the Marriott Forest of Arden. Over 60 players turned up for the challenge.
The weather stayed dry and provided perfect playing conditions for the mixed teams of members and suppliers, along with some good banter and networking opportunities.
By the half-way point many players were readily congratulating themselves on their mishaps and antics of lost balls, bunkers and the infamous lake.
Taking home the top prize of first place was Darren Watson from Boys and Boden with an overall score of 39 points.
