LONDON: The Contsruction Products Association was represented at the latest meeting of this group which advises the government on its priorities in relation to construction exports.
Key issues discussed were helping companies to capitalise on their involvement in the Olympics in relation to similar projects in other parts of the world, support for British Standards in countries where they are under threat from American standards, opportunities for exports in relation to highways work, and the way UK companies can tap into the opportunities provided by the various fiscal stimulus packages that have been launched in other countries to help revive their economies.
