The Builders Merchants Federation (BMF) has appointed James Beesley, Commercial Director of Beesley & Fildes, as North West Regional Chairman.
Beesley is the seventh generation to lead the family firm, established over 200 years ago and operating today from ten depots across the region, with a strong online presence.
Before taking up his current role in 2021, Beesley built an international career with broad experience in customer service, marketing, and quality management as a PGA Professional and Golf Director at resorts in America, Portugal and Spain. Today, he focuses on driving commercial growth and ensuring the company continues to evolve to meet customer needs.
Beesley takes over as Regional Chairman from Adrian Shelley of Henshaws Roofing & Building Supplies, following his appointment to the BMF Board.
