Material Evolution (Mevo) has appointed Phil Litchfield to its commercial team as Technical Sales Manager.
Litchfield brings more than 20 years of expertise in precast concrete products, having most recently served as Sustainability Manager at Brett Landscaping and Building Products, and prior to that holding a technical role at Marshalls. His background spans both the sustainability and technical sides of the precast sector, giving him a clear understanding of the pressures and priorities precast manufacturers face as they look to decarbonise.
Litchfield joins Ian St Hilaire and Richard Connell on Mevo's commercial team, adding to the significant concrete expertise within the company. He will have a particular focus on driving the adoption of MevoXL in semi-dry precast applications.
He commented: "Having worked across both the technical and sustainability sides of precast manufacturing, I've seen how much pressure producers are under to lower their carbon footprint without disrupting the processes and quality standards they rely on. Mevo's approach genuinely solves that problem, and I'm excited to help more of the industry make that switch."
