BMI UK & Ireland has reinforced its flat roofing division, strengthening its commitment to the flat roofing market and introducing enhanced support for the distribution sector.

The new team structure provides increased focus and resources for flat roofing, ensuring expertise is dedicated specifically to the sector. 

This renewed focus is designed to improve education, consistency, and product availability across distribution networks, helping customers better support contractors specifying and installing flat roofing systems. 

Chris Nicholls, Commercial Director at BMI UK & Ireland, said: “With flat roofing becoming more technical and more heavily regulated, distribution partners play a vital role in supporting the supply chain. By investing in a dedicated flat roofing leadership team and strengthening our customer support, we are reinforcing our commitment to the market and ensuring the right expertise is in place across distribution.” 

The flat leadership team is led by Charles Pierce, National Sales Director for Flat Roofing, supported by Dan Birkin, Regional Sales Director for Flat West and James Collett, Regional Sales Director for Flat East, who work alongside dedicated new build and refurbishment managers as well as a channel sales team that provides additional support to distribution partners.
