Following a successful year in 2014, Barwood Products has now appointed a new member to the team to further bolster the sales effort and to develop new opportunities for the company’s range of inclusive bathroom products.

Stuart Lorne has joined the company as regional sales manager - Midlands and the North - and will be responsible for servicing existing customers, including key merchant accounts and developing new business for the full range of DOC M packs, grab rails, showers and accessories. As part of his new role he will provide a full technical back up, which is a critical element of any inclusive project.

Mr Lorne is no stranger to the wider bathroom sector having previously worked in both technical and sales capacities for Style Products whose extensive portfolio included Siamp and Svedbergs, as well as a small range of inclusive products. A spell with Siamp UK followed where Mr Lorne was responsible for selling valves, wall frames and cisterns. This experience will be invaluable in his new role at Barwood Products.

Sharon McKenna, sales and marketing director at Barwood Products, is delighted with the appointment. She said: “We are very keen to consolidate our position this year and having Stuart on board will really allow us to tap into new opportunities, as well as manage existing customers. Although it’s early days, Stuart has hit the ground running and is undergoing an extensive training and induction programme, which includes meeting clients. I’m very excited to see what 2015 brings.”
