The 2017 Builders’ Merchants News Awards (BMN Awards) launched recently and paving manufacturer, Bradstone, is for its eighth year sponsoring the Hard Landscaping Display of the Year award.

The category recognises the design and construction of merchants’ external hard landscaping displays, with those that have helped boost sales and customer experience most likely to win.

Andrew Singleton, sales director at Bradstone, said: “As part of our ongoing support to our merchant partners, we supply a range of point-of-sale materials such as product display stands and banners. However, quality point-of-sale is just one piece in the puzzle.

“No matter how big or small the space merchants have to work with, laid displays should provide a great source of inspiration to their customers walking through the doors. There are some great examples out there of merchants leading the way. These models of best practice are precisely what the Hard Landscaping Display of the Year award recognises and I, personally, am excited to see what this year’s entrants have to offer.”

Judges will be looking for displays created from January 2016 to the present day. Entries should detail the reasons why the display design was chosen and how it was implemented. Supporting evidence by way of market insight, customer research and the impact on trading figures will help enhance the entry, as will customer testimonials.
