This year, Drayton has shaken up its sales team, with a new structure and series of appointments to further strengthen relationships with installers, merchants and commercial customers alike.

Under the new structure, the Drayton sales team now has two distinct areas of focus. Alongside the existing specification team, which supports commercial customers in the local authority, housing association and new-build markets, the sales team has been expanded with the creation of a new division focused on supporting merchants and installers.

Within the specification team, are two new hires. Melanie Stevens has been appointed as Area Sales Manager for the South East. With a strong background in sales, including 12 years at Barclays Bank, Stevens brings with her a wealth of experience. Additionally, Ellie Jovic, previously Branch Manager at SIG roofing and City Plumbing, joins the team as Area Sales Manager for Wales & West Midlands.

Making up the new merchant sales team are three key appointments: Nikolajs Kozlovs (Midlands), Rebecca McGhee (North) and Kimberley Chitombo (South). This new merchant sales team will be on hand to support merchant customers and will also focus on connecting with installers, through trade counter days and breakfast mornings hosted in partnership with key merchants across the UK.

Jeremy Palmer, General Manager at Drayton, commented: “We’re delighted to have made such an investment this year in bolstering our sales team. With the creation of our new merchant division, each member of the team now has a distinct focus, which will allow them the opportunity to create even stronger relationships with our customers – no matter which market we’re looking at. The team have already been out on the road over the past few months and look forward to meeting with more of our customers in 2024 to discuss how Drayton can assist them.”
