The role will entail managing and supporting the sales teams, representing ForgeFix, to the merchant buying groups as well as developing key accounts.
Fixings and fastener specialist ForgeFix has appointed Stephen Badgery as its new Head of Sales.
Badgery joins ForgeFix from Zoo Hardware, an architectural ironmongery company, where he was Area Sales Manager covering the South East of England and East Anglia.
Badgery brings with him years of experience in field-based sales roles, including in the fixings and fasteners industry, and he has been a familiar face at builders’ and plumbers’ merchants over that time.
The role will entail managing and supporting the sales teams, representing ForgeFix to the merchant buying groups as well as developing key accounts.
“I am delighted to join the ForgeFix team and I am looking forward to getting to know the sales team and heading out on the road to meet existing and new customers,” said Badgery. “One of my priorities is developing the relationship with buying groups and developing new markets for our ForgeFast, Spectre and CorePlus brands.”
