ForgeFix has announced that its new facility at Bessemer Park in Sheffield has officially been named a Builders Merchants Federation (BMF) Centre of Excellence.

The relocation of the business to Bessemer Park earlier this year marked a significant step in ForgeFix’s strategic development, providing the company with a modern, purpose-built site to support its long-term growth ambitions. The distribution hub will enable innovation, training and industry collaboration.

The BMF Centre of Excellence title recognises facilities that set the highest standards for professional training, knowledge sharing and customer engagement. At Bessemer Park, ForgeFix will be able to host and deliver dedicated programmes designed to strengthen skills across the industry, showcase product innovation and create closer links with merchant partners and stakeholders throughout the supply chain.

Commenting on the announcement, Paul Swift, Managing Director of Galleon Fixings, said: “Our Bessemer Park facility being named as a BMF Centre of Excellence underlines ForgeFix’s commitment to investing in the future of our business and our industry.

"This new site gives us the scale, infrastructure and resources to deliver on our growth plans, while leading standards across the sector. Bessemer Park represents a strong platform for the next phase of our journey, and we are excited about the opportunities it creates for ForgeFix and the wider Galleon Fixings Group.”

John Newcomb, CEO of the Builders Merchants Federation, added: “We are delighted to recognise ForgeFix’s new facility at Bessemer Park as a BMF Centre of Excellence. The site demonstrates exactly what we look for, combining modern facilities with a clear focus on skills development, innovation and collaboration. ForgeFix is a proactive supporter of the BMF, and we look forward to working closely with them as they use this impressive new base to drive positive change across the industry.”
