With instant access to product and technical data ever more important to tradespeople, installers and specifiers, central heating controls expert Horstmann will now respond by Twitter for information requests.
Requests to @AskHorstmann will be dealt with by the Horstmann technical team who will either respond directly or in many cases direct the sender to the appropriate area on the new Horstmann website.
Here a range of downloads are available from technical data sheets to user and installation instructions on products in the extensive Horstmann range.
“It’s all about accessibility,” explained Horstmann sales and marketing director Paul Lovegrove. “The installer has to make instant on-site decisions and these often require a brief but concise consultation with an expert. We are pleased that Horstmann can be that source.”
Mr Lovegrove added: “This will save him or her time and money and hopefully increase customer satisfaction.”
The Horstmann website is acknowledged as an authoritative source of heating controls data and in its new format offers enhanced information covering not only Horstmann products but links to trade bodies and those involved in energy conservation.
The dedicated literature downloads section is supplemented by best practice and industry guidance information (e.g. BEAMA guidelines); it also features a direct link to the Horstmann training modules and to the animated ‘Horstmann 20/20’ guides.
Other sections detail links to authorised Horstmann stockists, future events such as trade shows and the itinerary for the Horstmann roadshow and contact information.
