Alsford Timber & Builders’ Merchant expands Mill and Manufacturing Services with the appointment of Max Dempster as Head of Central Sales.
Max Dempster takes on the role following his successful tenure as Branch Manager at Alsford's Ruxley branch, bringing extensive merchanting experience and a strong understanding of the needs of both customers and suppliers throughout the construction supply chain.
As Head of Contract Sales, Dempster's appointment reflects Alsford's continued commitment and investment into developing the opportunities presented by its Mill and Manufacturing Services offering, and strengthening partnerships with merchants and contractors across the South-East and East Anglia.
Based at Alsford's timber mill in Erith, Kent, Dempster will work closely with new customers to increase awareness of the specialist timber solutions available through our Mill, helping them unlock opportunities for greater efficiency, improved consistency and simplified timber procurement.
Supported by more than 140 years of timber expertise, Alsford's Mill and Manufacturing Services operation provides a stable supply chain, and a range of value-added solutions, able to support merchants with everything from specialist machining and bespoke mouldings to timber treatment and timber sourcing.
