Condell’s Sutton branch has been transformed into a Lords outlet and will stock a full merchant range including timber, sheets, bricks, blocks, sand, cement, drylining, insulation, tools, drainage, as well as plumbing, heating, decorating, and landscaping.

Lords Builders Merchants is celebrating its first opening south of the river in Sutton, South London, following the acquisition of Condell in April.

Founded in 1985, Lords has seen extensive growth across all divisions, now with ten branches across West London and the Home Counties.

Condell’s Sutton branch has been transformed into a Lords outlet and will stock a full merchant range including timber, sheets, bricks, blocks, sand, cement, drylining, insulation, tools, drainage, as well as plumbing, heating, decorating, and landscaping.

Branch Manager, Michael Curley, who previously managed the branch as Condell, will continue at the helm with his huge experience of the local market, while Director Jim McMeckan will move to a regional role with Lords.

Condell Horsham branch and website will continue to operate under the Condell name and account holders will be transferred to Lords, with new account benefits available.

Tim Holton, Group Acquisition Director, said: “We are delighted to now have a foothold for Lords in South London, an area we have been looking to move into for some time. We would like to thank Jim McMeckan, for working closely with us to make the acquisition and integration process a smooth and enjoyable experience. We are looking forward to servicing customers south of the river and expanding their delivery area.”
