Mike Beech arrived at Kerridge Commercial Systems (KCS) in January as its new product marketing director, and from the start he has been impressed by the management team’s ambitions for the business and where things are headed both in the UK and internationally.
Mr Beech explained: “My career initially started as a ‘techie’ – a software researcher specialising in artificial intelligence and knowledge-based systems. I soon moved on to the business area of IT, working in a variety of software product management and marketing roles. KCS attracted me as a company with great potential – expanding rapidly, class-leading products and services, and a really interesting customer base.”
Mr Beech’s initial focus has been product marketing, and now extends across the marketing mix from researching customers’ needs, steering product development, analysing new markets, creating value propositions, and defining market communications.
