As part of its ongoing commitment to offering members the best possible deals, offers and terms, the National Merchant Buying Society (NMBS) has revamped its Professional Points loyalty scheme.

The independent buying society, which is celebrating its 50th trading anniversary this year, has not only re-launched its website for the scheme but also added a brand new supplier partner.

Under the Professional Points reward programme, which is free to join for all NMBS members, users are able to earn one point for every £10 spent with participating suppliers. These points can then be redeemed against a selection of products that include workwear, power tools, hand tools and roofing supplies, as well as electrical and gaming products and sporting equipment.

Developed with maximum ease of use in mind, the newly launched Professional Points website provides a secure, protected and informative platform for users to access comprehensive material about available products and suppliers, to place orders and to redeem their accrued points.

This online platform has also been complemented by the addition of a new participating supplier, Industrial Textiles & Plastics. The producer of protective engineered textiles and chemical-resistant membranes joins Makita, Dickies and Spear & Jackson as an approved partner to the scheme, greatly enhancing the range of products available and allowing users to build up even more points.

Dean Hayward, marketing manager at NMBS, commented: “As a business, NMBS takes customer loyalty very seriously and we’re always looking for new ways to offer our members the best possible benefits. The enhancement of our Professional Points offering is just the latest example of this commitment in practice, helping to reward customers for their ongoing business and loyalty and giving something back for every pound they spend.”
