CRASH has expanded its support base by welcoming Dulux Trade as a new patron partner.

CRASH focuses on improving buildings that offer help and shelter to homeless people across the UK by providing professional expertise, supplying free materials and awarding cash grants.

The charity encourages its patron companies to get directly involved, matching their expertise to the needs of a particular homelessness project. This practical approach means that vital renovations and developments of emergency night shelters, day centres and hostels can be carried out to a high standard. As a result, safe, sustainable and welcoming places are created where vulnerable people can seek help.

CRASH helps an average of 85 homelessness charities a year, resulting in hundreds of people not having to sleep rough on streets throughout the UK.

“Patron partners are the life blood of CRASH and we could not continue to respond to the requests for help we receive without their support,” said CRASH chief executive Francesca Roberts.

Paul Roughan, sales director at Dulux Trade, said: “It’s an honour to partner with an organisation that does such important work. By joining with CRASH we hope to help the charity make a significant difference to the buildings and shelters offered to homeless people, allowing it to continue to offer the great support it is known for.”
