Acheson & Glover (A&G) has given Peter Turner the position of commercial sales manager – GB Distributors. This is a new role within the company and has come about as a result of the increasing amount of business A&G has been doing with its wide base of merchant customers.
Mr Turner, who has been with A&G for four years as regional sales manager for the South East and east of England, has 29 years’ experience in the industry. He has previously been with builders’ merchants and manufacturers including EH Smith, Durox, Greenham Paving and Tubbs.
“It’s an exciting challenge but one that I’m looking forward to,” Mr Turner commented. “A&G’s distributor business is definitely growing and with a product range that will help distributors sell, I know there are great opportunities to develop this important sector of the market even more.”
