ST Group has been awarded an Excellence in Business award by the St Helens Chamber of Commerce at the 2015 Pride of St Helens’ awards ceremony, held at Langtree Park Stadium.
Steve Gange, the chamber’s chairman said: “We congratulate ST Group and it is great to see continued success from such a long established business which has always shown a huge commitment to St Helens.”
The award is given out each year to businesses or entrepreneurs that help St Helens prosper and provide job opportunities. At the awards ceremony, ST Group sales manager Philip Skerry collected the award on behalf of the company from Mr Gange.

One of St Helens’ longest established timber and builder’s merchants, ST Group provides a range of products including brick, block, paving, timber, sheet materials, plumbing, insulation, drainage, bedrooms, doors and bespoke joinery to individual customers as well as national and international trade companies.
ST Group was founded in 1973 and has developed from humble beginnings into a fully fledged builder’s merchant and specialist joinery manufacturer. The company operates from a purpose designed five acre site and boasts a wide range of customers, including small builders, housing associations, schools and international corporations.
