Toolbank has strengthened its senior management team with the creation of a new role. Currently holding the position of sales director, Simon Bicknell will move to fill the new position of marketing development director.
Toolbank CEO Wayne Flory said: “It is vital that we have a dedicated marketing resource continuing our policy of providing the very best service and support initiatives for our customers and suppliers. Our marketing team are already creating excellent, industry-leading work but we are determined to identify any opportunities as to how we can improve our offering.”
Toolbank has already started the recruitment process for a new sales director to take over from Mr Bicknell, who will continue to oversee Toolbank’s overall sales and marketing functions until the new appointment has been trained and inducted into the business.
“This is a really exciting time for Toolbank, and for me personally, as we already have many great plans in place for new initiatives,” said Mr Bicknell. “Having spent the last 20 years in sales, I hope to be able to use my experience to support our team as we deliver more services for our customers and suppliers.”
