The Guildford branch of Champion Timber is supporting local Guildford County School for its annual student award ceremony.
The award ceremony, which will take place on 4 November at Guildford Cathedral, recognises a number of children for their contribution to school life, their participation in house activities or specific events and their hard work in the classroom.
Champion Timber is sponsoring the Achievement in Technology award, which enables the school to provide the winning student with a book of their choice and a school book plate as a lasting memento of their achievements at school.
Chris Bergin, branch manager at Champion Timber Guildford, said: “As a big company, we like to support local causes at each branch as much as possible. Education is so important so we were more than happy to sponsor the Achievement in Technology award at Guildford County and would like to wish all of the students good luck with their continuing studies.”
