HULL: MKM Building Supplies provided 1000 tickets for young people to see Hull Truck Theatre's festive production of A Christmas Carol.
The children are either foster children, fostering families, children in residential care, young carers or siblings of disabled children.
The sponsorship came via the Gift of Christmas campaign, the latest in a series of innovative fund raising schemes launched by the theatre to attract corporate support.
A spokesman for MKM Building Supplies said: "David Kilburn, chief executive, and Bill Acton, managing director, both embrace the opportunity to get involved in local community projects, and are particularly delighted to have the opportunity to focus on local children at Christmas time."
