Construction is underway on Hodgson Sealants new £2 million warehouse facility at its East Yorkshire site.
The new facility will stand 16m high and provide just under 1,200m² of warehousing, with an additional 32m x 14m canopy, located to the rear of the company's existing Beverley site.
The project will also free up the majority of the existing warehouse space at its Belprin Road site for additional manufacturing, and consolidating storage onto a single site will improve stock accuracy and end the need to move goods between locations.
Construction is being carried out by Houlton, with the building on track for completion in January 2027.
The new building will incorporate energy-efficient lighting and solar panels, with the aim of making the facility self-sufficient and removing its reliance on grid electricity.
Danielle Houghton, Managing Director of Hodgson Sealants, said: "This investment reflects our confidence in the future of the business and our commitment to UK manufacturing.
"Bringing together all of our storage onto one site will make us more efficient as a business, and just as importantly, it clears the way for us to expand our manufacturing capacity.
"We've been growing for almost 60 years, and this is the next step in that journey."
