Worcester Bosch has announced Ed Thomas as the newly appointed Head of Government & External Affairs.
Thomas has a longstanding history with the Bosch Group, having worked as the UK Political Affairs and Government Coordinator in 2016 for over six years. In his role, Ed will be the key driver of the public affairs function, working closely with external political and industry stakeholders to work towards a low-carbon future. Thomas' predecessor Martyn Bridges retired in September.
Speaking about his new role, Thomas said: "I'm incredibly excited to be returning to the Bosch Group and supporting one of the UK's most well-known heating and cooling manufacturers. I look forward to helping deliver market-leading, high-quality home comfort solutions to homes across the country.
"There is a lot of exciting change happening in the industry at the moment, and I'm looking forward to supporting the UK decarbonisation journey."
Worcester Bosch CEO Jo Shepherd said: "Ed is a fantastic asset to our leadership team and he brings with him a wealth of knowledge and public policy expertise.
"He will play a key role in helping us continue to offer consumers a broad range of innovative technologies, enabling them to enjoy comfortable, energy-efficient homes today while supporting the transition to a more responsible future."
