h&b has named Cromar Building Products as its 2019 Supplier of the Year.
The award, presented at the group’s Annual Members Event hosted by comedian Hugh Dennis, commended Cromar not only for its excellent service levels but for the independent, agile and innovative culture of the company that matches the profile of so many h&b members.
Entrants are nominated by h&b’s 90+ independent merchant members. They comment on their best suppliers, taking into account delivery, product quality, sales support, product merchandising, administration accuracy, packaging, handling, and problem-solving.
Yorkshire-based Cromar, an independent business, provides h&b members with a wide range of flat and pitched roofing products including compounds and membranes.
“At a time of continuing mergers, acquisitions and consequent reductions in supplier choice, we take pride in the fact that Cromar’s independence gives us the flexibility to respond quickly to new and changing customer needs”, says Cromar’s Sales Director Daniel Marshall.
