Shower specialist Lakes Bathrooms has boosted its sales team with two recruits: Karen Banyard and Wendy Hunt.
Ms Banyard and Ms Hunt have joined the company as sales administrators to support the field sales team. They join the existing sales force of 16 and double the internal sales capacity for the Midlands and East Anglian regions.
Ms Banyard works with existing administrator Lucy Everitt to cover the Midlands region, whilst Ms Hunt joins Rosemary Miles to support the East Anglian region, bringing with her over seven years of experience in the bathroom industry. Her job is set to expand to include the North West and West London as she develops in the role.
Sales and marketing director Clive Organ said: “Our business has continued to grow and, with the introduction of the Coastline Collection, we need to add to the capacity of our sales team to meet demand.
“We invest heavily in sales support, a service engineering team and customer service – Karen and Wendy will add to that internal resource that allows us to consistently deliver against our service promise to customers. We are excited to welcome them to the Lakes Bathrooms family.”
Ms Banyard said: “This is a return to the manufacturing industry, which I know and enjoy, and the friendliness of the team immediately attracted me.”
Ms Hunt added: “Lakes Bathrooms is a highly professional organisation with high-quality products that customers love. I am proud to represent the company and look forward to developing the relationships with customers that set us apart.”
When not busy in the bathroom industry, Ms Banyard enjoys baking and taking breaks with her family in their touring caravan. Ms Hunt enjoys walks with her rescued Labrador, reading and keeping fit in the gym.
