Rixonway Kitchens has appointed former sales and marketing director David Anderson as managing director.
Mr Anderson will now lead the £40m turnover business, which specialises in manufacturing and supplying kitchens to the social housing and merchant sector.
The appointment is one of a trio of senior appointments at Rixonway, which has also seen Phil Bonar become sales director and Kevin Brown become head of merchant sales.
Since joining Rixonway in 2007, Mr Anderson has overseen the expansion of the business, more than doubled staff numbers and won significant new contracts across the UK. He has 25 years’ experience in the industry including senior sales and marketing roles at Kent-based Marley Plumbing and Drainage and bath and sink manufacturer Spring Ram.
In his new role Mr Anderson will continue to oversee Rixonway’s integration into the Nobia Group, which acquired the business in December 2014. He will also be responsible for sales in the social housing, merchant and private developer market sectors.
Mr Bonar spent 24 years in the plastic plumbing and drainage products industry before joining Rixonway last year from Polypipe Building Products.
Commenting on his new role, Mr Anderson said: “I am extremely pleased to be appointed managing director at Rixonway, and I am looking forward to the challenge of leading the business through the next stage of its growth and development. I would also like to welcome my colleagues Phil Bonar and Kevin Brown to their new positions, both of whom will bring considerable experience and expertise to their roles.”
