The inaugural Forum planned for July 7 has been postponed until September 24
Owing to the ongoing effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Builders Merchants Federation has decided to postpone the inaugural Tools, Fixings and Workwear/PPE Forum that was planned for July 7 until September 24.
Simon Bicknell, Category Chairman, said: "Although several BMF forums have taken place remotely in a digital format with considerable success, we feel that it would make more sense for us to wait until we have a better understanding of how the market is playing out, before we try to make any comments about how to develop business during these extraordinary times.
"We have a really interesting group of presenters, including Charles Ledigo of Reisser, Rachel Fryers of Merritt & Fryers, James Clarke of Stanley Black & Decker, Rob Haines of Dickies Workwear and Gavin Crane of Band of Builders so we will have plenty to talk about that should interest merchants of all types and sizes.
"However if you would like to find out more about any of the products or services in the meantime please do contact the BMF or email me on sbicknell@toolbank.com
