On Thursday 14 March, Mick Moran was delighted to present James McGill with a Loyalty and Service Certificate in recognition of his 30 years as an employee of MP Moran & Sons.
Mr McGill’s potential was obvious to Mr Moran from the first day he came to help out his father, James McGill senior, in MP Moran & Sons’ yard. He has seen many changes over the years and has played a big part in the growth of the company.
His own son, Joe, joined the Kilburn branch last year and so for a short time, the company had three generations of the McGill family working for it, before Mr McGill senior’s retirement last year.
Mr Moran, his brother Brendan, his two sons Martin and Kevin and many of the staff at Iverson Road were thrilled to raise a glass in appreciation of Mr McGill’s loyalty to the company and also to the future.
