Manufacturer of pipe fixings, accessories and cover profiles, Talon, has appointed Dean Heathfield as its new commercial director.
Mr Heathfield originally worked for Talon from 2007 to 2012 as regional sales manager, dealing with plumbers, contractors, local authorities, specifiers and major stockists across the south east, covering the complete range of Talon products.
He spent the interim, from 2012-2015 as a business development manager for F.W. Hipkin of Dagenham, a specialist wholesaler of plumbing and heating materials. In many ways his return to Talon was predetermined; having left on good terms and remaining popular with the Talon team, as well as being well-known across the sector.
In his new role, he will be responsible for the future development of the Talon range and will be working closely with managing director, Don Theobald to ensure steady successful growth.
